Who survives in the movie Security from 2017 starring Antonio Banderas as Eddie Deacon and Ben Kingsley as villain Charlie depends on which characters make it through final battle. Eddie Deacon, the former Marine captain turned mall security guard, survives after defeating Charlie in hand to hand combat and gunfight, he is main hero who protects young girl Jamie who witnessed murder and holds evidence. Jamie, the 11 year old girl, survives as the protected asset, she is kept safe in secure room during mercenary attack and is rescued when police arrive. Among security guard team, Mason and Johnny survive though injured, they help set traps and fight attackers using mall resources. Vance, the senior guard played by Liam McIntyre, dies heroically sacrificing himself to protect others during final assault, his death motivates team. Most of Charlie's mercenaries are killed during traps and gunfights set by guards. Charlie himself, played by Ben Kingsley, is killed by Eddie at climax. Police arrive next morning and survivors are treated, Eddie reunites with family and is recognized as hero who redeemed himself after job loss.
