To stop your garage door from making noise, you need to systematically clean, tighten, and lubricate the entire system rather than just spraying one spot. Start with a visual inspection with the door closed and the opener disconnected by pulling the emergency release cord. Check all bolts and screws on the tracks, hinges, and roller brackets, as loose hardware rattles and vibrates loudly. Tighten them with a socket wrench, but do not overtighten. Next, clean the tracks with a damp cloth to remove dirt and hardened grease that causes grinding. Do not heavily grease the tracks. Then lubricate all moving parts with a proper garage door lubricant. Spray the hinges where they pivot, the roller stems and bearings, the bearing plates on either side of the torsion spring, and lightly across the torsion spring coils themselves. If you have a chain drive opener, lubricate the chain. If you have a screw drive, lubricate the screw. Replace worn parts. If rollers are chipped, cracked, or have wobbly bearings, replace them with quiet nylon rollers with sealed bearings. If the door still squeals after lubrication, the springs may be binding or the door may be out of balance and need professional adjustment. Perform this maintenance every six months to prevent noise from returning.
