Foundation is widely considered by sci-fi enthusiasts and critics to be well worth watching due to its breathtaking cinematic scale, stunning visual effects, elaborate world-building, and complex political intrigue. While the mathematical and sociological concepts differ from Isaac Asimov's original novels, the magnificent performances—especially Lee Pace as Brother Day in the Genetic Dynasty plotline—deliver exceptional prestige science fiction entertainment.
