As of 2026, Apple TV+ has officially renewed Foundation through Season 4, but an official public greenlight for a fifth season has not yet been formally announced by the network. The show's creators and executive producers have mapped out a multi-season arc intended to span roughly eight seasons if viewership remains strong, meaning future renewals for Season 5 and beyond will depend on ongoing streaming performance metrics and studio approvals.
