No, Bayta Darell is not the Mule; in fact, she is the brilliant, courageous hero in Asimov's novels who ultimately unmasks and defeats the Mule. While other characters are suspected or hide their identities, Bayta uses her sharp intellect and psychological insight to deduce that Magnifico is the Mule, traveling across the galaxy to locate the mysterious First Foundation's hidden archives and successfully thwarting the mentalic conqueror's galaxy-wide domination plans.
