AusCycling membership cost in 2025 varies by membership type and age. AusCycling offers several categories. For recreational riders who do not race, a Lifestyle membership which includes 24/7 personal accident insurance and third party liability while riding costs around $99 per year for adults, $65 for juniors, and $149 for a family of two adults and children. This membership allows you to participate in non-competitive community rides and Gran Fondo events that accept Lifestyle members. For riders who want to race, an All Discipline Race membership which lets you race road, track, mountain bike, BMX, cyclo-cross and gravel costs approximately $350 to $380 per year for adults over 19, $230 to $260 for under 19s, and $110 to $150 for juniors under 13. A Single Discipline Race membership, for example road only or mountain bike only, costs $220 to $300 for adults. AusCycling also offers a 4-week free trial for new members, which includes the same insurance as a full membership for the trial period. For one-day events, you can buy an event licence or day licence for $35 to $55, which includes insurance for that day only. All memberships include personal accident cover for non-Medicare medical expenses, income protection, and up to $20M third party liability. Prices include GST and may vary slightly by state association fees.
