To cancel your AusCycling membership, you need to stop your renewal, as AusCycling memberships are annual and do not auto-renew without your action unless you have set up automatic renewal through your payment method. The process is done through your AusCycling member portal. Log in to auscycling.org.au with your email and password, go to My Account, then My Memberships or My Licences, and check your renewal settings. If you have automatic renewal enabled via Stripe or direct debit, disable it there. If you paid annually by card, the membership will simply expire at the end of the 12-month period if you do not renew, so you do not need to formally cancel mid-term, there is no refund for early cancellation because insurance has already been provided for the period. If you want to cancel within the cooling-off period, which is 14 days after purchase if you have not used the membership to enter any races or made an insurance claim, you can email AusCycling membership services at
[email protected] with your full name, AusCycling ID and request for cancellation and refund. For direct debit monthly payments, you must email membership services at least 10 days before the next payment to stop the debit. If you are cancelling because you are moving or injured, you can request a membership hold or transfer. Your UCI ID remains yours for life even after cancellation, but you will not be insured or eligible to race until you rejoin.
