Your Whirlpool oven may not start due to several power, safety, and component reasons. The most common reason is power supply or clock not set: electric Whirlpool ovens require 240 volts from two breakers, if one breaker trips, oven will not start, check breaker panel and reset both breakers, also after power outage, clock flashes and many Whirlpool ovens will not start bake until clock is set, press Clock button and enter time using number pads. Second, control lock activated: if control lock light is on, press and hold Control Lock button for 3 seconds until light goes off. Third, door not fully closed or door latch stuck in locked position after self-clean, oven thinks door is locked and will not start bake, try pressing Cancel and holding door latch. Fourth, Sabbath mode or demo mode enabled, which disables heating, check manual to disable by pressing and holding specific buttons. Fifth, thermal fuse blown from overheating during self-clean, causing no power to control board. Sixth, failed heating element or igniter: electric element may have visible break, gas igniter may not glow. Seventh, temperature sensor failure causing F3E0 error. Eighth, control board failure from power surge causing blank display. To troubleshoot, unplug oven for 5 to 10 minutes to reset control board, ensure door closes firmly, set clock, disable control lock, and try setting Bake at 350 and pressing Start button. If display shows error code, look up code in manual.
