Kenmore appliances are now carried primarily by Sears, both online at sears.com and remaining Sears stores in US, plus limited availability on Amazon and other online marketplaces, after Sears bankruptcy in 2018 reduced retail presence significantly. Kenmore is brand owned by Transformco, which owns Sears and Kmart, and historically sold exclusively at Sears and Kmart stores, with appliances made by Whirlpool, LG, and Frigidaire. Today, Sears has only handful of stores left in US, down from over 700, but sears.com continues to sell Kenmore washers, dryers, refrigerators, and vacuums with delivery, though selection is smaller than past. Some Kenmore products like vacuums and small appliances are listed on Amazon by third-party sellers, but not full appliance line. Sears Hometown stores, which are independent dealers, also carry some Kenmore appliances. In Canada, no major retailer carries new Kenmore appliances since Sears Canada closed in 2018, so new Kenmore not available in Canadian retail, only used market on Kijiji. For comparison, Whirlpool, Maytag, and LG equivalents of Kenmore models are carried by Home Depot, Lowes, and Best Buy, as Kenmore models were rebranded Whirlpool. So who carries Kenmore now is mainly Sears online and few remaining Sears stores in US, plus Amazon for vacuums, with limited retail presence compared to past when Sears was major appliance retailer.
