Where is Kenmore made?

Kenmore appliances are made in various locations by different contract manufacturers, as Kenmore is private label brand owned by Transformco, parent of Sears, with no factories of its own, outsourcing production to Whirlpool, LG, Frigidaire, and other companies. Many Kenmore washers and dryers are made in Clyde, Ohio, USA at Whirlpool plant that also makes Whirlpool and Maytag washers, with Made in USA label, as Whirlpool has been major supplier for Kenmore for decades, producing Kenmore 110 and 80 series washers identical to Whirlpool models. Some Kenmore refrigerators are made by LG in South Korea and Mexico, with LG linear compressors, and some Kenmore ranges and dishwashers are made by Frigidaire in Juarez, Mexico plants owned by Electrolux. Some Kenmore vacuums are made in China. So Kenmore made locations include Ohio, USA for washers and dryers, Mexico for ranges and some fridges, and South Korea for some fridges, depending on model and year. In Canada, Kenmore appliances sold at former Sears Canada were imported from these US and Mexico factories, not made in Canada, as Canada has limited appliance manufacturing. So Kenmore is made in USA, Mexico, and Korea by contract manufacturers, with most washers made in Ohio, USA, and many fridges and ranges made in Mexico, reflecting its private label nature with multiple suppliers.
