Does Kenmore still make appliances in Canada?

No, Kenmore does not make appliances in Canada, and never actually manufactured appliances in Canada, as Kenmore is private label brand that contracted manufacturing to other companies, primarily in US and Mexico, and new Kenmore appliances are no longer sold in Canada since Sears Canada closed in 2018. Kenmore brand, owned by Transformco, parent of Sears, never had its own factories in Canada or US, it outsourced production to Whirlpool, LG, and Frigidaire, with Whirlpool making many Kenmore washers in Clyde, Ohio, USA, Frigidaire making ranges in Mexico, and LG making fridges in Korea and Mexico. In Canada, Kenmore appliances were sold at Sears Canada stores but were imported from US and Mexico factories, not made in Canada. There are no Kenmore manufacturing plants in Canada today, and after Sears Canada bankruptcy and closure of all 140 stores in 2018, new Kenmore appliances are not available in Canadian retail market, though used Kenmore appliances remain in many Canadian homes. Some Canadian appliance companies like Danby in Guelph, Ontario make compact fridges in Canada, but not Kenmore. So Kenmore does not make appliances in Canada, it never manufactured in Canada, and new Kenmore appliances are not sold in Canada anymore, only used market on Kijiji, with parts available through Reliable Parts and other suppliers for existing units.
