Kenmore brand technically still exists in Canada as trademark owned by Transformco, parent of Sears, but new Kenmore appliances are very hard to buy in Canada since Sears Canada closed all stores in 2018 and ended operations, so brand has largely disappeared from Canadian retail market. Historically, Kenmore was sold exclusively at Sears Canada stores across Canada for decades, with appliances made by Whirlpool, LG, and Frigidaire, offering good value and reliability, and Sears Canada was major retailer. After Sears Canada bankruptcy and liquidation in 2018, all Sears Canada stores closed, ending official Kenmore sales in Canada, and no other major retailer like Home Depot Canada or Lowes Canada carries new Kenmore appliances as Kenmore was Sears exclusive brand. However, existing Kenmore appliances in Canadian homes still exist and are serviced, with parts available at Reliable Parts, Sears PartsDirect Canada online, and other parts suppliers, as Kenmore washers share parts with Whirlpool models made in Ohio. Used Kenmore appliances are still traded on Kijiji, Facebook Marketplace, and used appliance stores across Canada. So Kenmore brand still exists as trademark and parts support continues, but new Kenmore appliances are no longer sold in Canada through major retailers, making brand effectively discontinued in Canadian retail, though millions of Kenmore units remain in use and parts remain available.
