Where is the filter on a Samsung washer located depends on whether front load or top load model. For Samsung front load washer, filter is drain pump filter located at bottom front of washer behind small rectangular access panel or cover at lower left or right corner, you press to open door, place towel, unscrew round filter knob counterclockwise, drain water, remove lint, coins, and debris.
