Do not add detergent during Self Clean, as detergent creates residue. If using vinegar, add 2 cups white vinegar in drum. Some users add half cup baking soda. After cycle, wipe door seal and leave door open to dry. Samsung manual says you may use bleach or cleaner but not both together. For preventive maintenance, run Self Clean monthly with cleaner if you wash heavily or use lots of softener.
