What does toto face mean?

Toto face is not a standard English phrase with a single dictionary definition, but it has a few possible meanings depending on context, most commonly related to small dogs or facial expressions. In dog owner communities, toto face often refers to the adorable facial expression of a small terrier-type dog, similar to Toto from The Wizard of Oz. Toto was a Cairn Terrier, and toto face can mean a scruffy, cute, alert expression with pointy ears and dark eyes. In texting and social media, toto face could be a typo or cute way of saying total face or referring to a selfie where someone is making a specific expression. In some contexts, toto face might refer to a makeup or filter that gives a small, doll-like face. There is also a small brand of children's products called Toto Face. If you saw toto face on TikTok or Instagram, it is likely describing a cute, small, scruffy dog look inspired by Toto from The Wizard of Oz, or a filter that makes a human look like that dog. Without more context, the most likely meaning is a cute, terrier-like facial expression, small and scruffy with big eyes, evoking the iconic dog Toto who accompanied Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, symbolizing loyalty and innocence.
