You can determine if your window glass features a Low-E coating by performing the flame reflection test in a dark room. Hold a small flame or the light of a smartphone flashlight up close to the glass surface at an angle. If you see multiple reflection images and one of the reflections has a distinct bluish, purplish, or reddish hue compared to the others, a Low-E coating is present.
