You can easily check if your window has a Low-E coating by performing the flame test in a dark room. Hold a lit match or a smartphone flashlight close to the glass surface at a 45-degree angle. If you observe multiple reflections of the flame, and one of those reflection images has a distinct bluish, purplish, or reddish hue compared to the others, a Low-E coating is present on that specific glass surface.
