Who has the best price on gas dryers varies by season and model, but generally the lowest prices are found at big box retailers during holiday sales, membership clubs, and online appliance discounters. In 2026, Costco often has the best overall value on gas dryers because they include free delivery, installation, haul-away, and a 2-year extended warranty plus Costco's return policy, with LG DLGX4001W gas dryer often at 699 to 799 dollars. Home Depot and Lowe's compete aggressively and offer the lowest advertised prices during Memorial Day, Labor Day, Fourth of July, and Black Friday, often 10 to 20 percent off plus 10 percent off for military or with store credit card, with LG and Maytag gas dryers at 599 to 799 dollars. Best Buy matches prices and offers 18-month financing and open-box deals that can be 20 to 40 percent off. Online, Appliances Connection, AJ Madison, and Abt Electronics often have lower base prices and no sales tax outside their home states, plus free shipping. For the absolute cheapest, check local scratch-and-dent appliance stores and Facebook Marketplace for new-in-box units with minor dents at 30 to 50 percent off. Always compare total cost including delivery, installation kit, gas line connection fee of 100 to 200 dollars, and haul-away, and combine manufacturer rebates from LG or GE with utility rebates of 25 to 75 dollars for Energy Star models.
