Which brand is better than Samsung?

Which brand is better than Samsung depends on product category and personal preference, as Samsung is top brand in many areas but some brands are better in specific categories. For smartphones, Apple is considered better than Samsung by many reviewers and high-income users for overall user experience, ecosystem integration with MacBook, iPad, and Apple Watch, best video recording, longer software support with 5 to 6 years day-one updates, better privacy, and higher resale value retaining 60 percent after two years, with iPhone 15 Pro Max often rated best phone overall above Galaxy S24 Ultra. For clean Android and computational photography, Google Pixel is considered better than Samsung with faster updates, no bloatware, and best AI photo features like Magic Eraser. For TVs, LG is considered better than Samsung for OLED TVs with perfect blacks and Dolby Vision support, while Samsung QLED is excellent but LG OLED often rated better for movies. For appliances, LG and Bosch are considered more reliable than Samsung refrigerators which have reported ice maker issues. For laptops, Apple MacBook is considered better than Samsung laptops. For semiconductors, TSMC is better than Samsung for chip manufacturing. However Samsung is better than many brands for display technology, foldables, and memory chips, being world's largest phone maker by volume and display maker.
