A PCB (Printed Circuit Board) is a non-conductive mechanical substrate made of fiberglass or epoxy that uses copper tracks, pads, and features etched from copper sheets to physically support and electrically connect various electronic components together. An IC (Integrated Circuit), commonly called a microchip or chip, is a miniaturized set of electronic circuits—consisting of millions or billions of microscopic transistors, resistors, and capacitors—embedded directly onto a thin semiconductor material, usually silicon, performing complex data processing and logical operations.
