What exactly is treatment? Treatment is actions and care taken to manage, cure, or improve a medical condition, disease, injury, or problem, aimed at relieving symptoms, healing, preventing progression, or improving quality of life. In medicine, treatment includes medications, therapies like physical therapy, occupational therapy, psychotherapy, surgical procedures, lifestyle changes, dietary changes, and supportive care. It can be curative aiming to cure disease, or palliative aiming to relieve symptoms and improve comfort when cure not possible, or preventive to prevent disease. Treatment plan is developed by healthcare providers based on diagnosis, severity, patient preferences, and evidence. In general sense, treatment also means way of handling or dealing with something or someone, like treatment of materials with chemicals to alter properties, or treatment of people with kindness. So treatment means organized approach to address health issue or handle something to achieve desired outcome, whether medical care to heal illness or method to process or handle material or person.
