Most garage door openers do not have a dedicated button labeled reset, but the Learn button acts as reset for erasing programming and power cycling resets logic board, so reset is done via Learn button and unplugging. For LiftMaster, Chamberlain, and Genie openers, there is no single reset button that resets everything to factory defaults, but you can reset programming by pressing and holding Learn button on motor unit for 6 to 10 seconds until LED turns off, erasing all remote controls, keypads, and MyQ or Homelink codes, then reprogram. To reset travel limits and force settings, use adjustment buttons on motor unit or MyQ app, or follow manual for your model to reset limits. To reset logic board after power surge, error, or erratic operation, unplug opener from power outlet for 30 seconds to 1 minute, then plug back in, which power cycles and resets board, disconnect battery backup if present when power cycling. Some wall controls have reset or lock buttons. Some newer WiFi models have gear or settings button that resets WiFi. So while there is no labeled reset button, reset functions are performed via Learn button for programming erase and power cycle for board reset. Consult manual for your specific model number for exact reset procedures.
