As of 2026, there is no official Click 2 movie that has been released or officially greenlit with a full cast and production date, but there have been persistent rumors and discussions about a sequel. In recent years, there have been reports from entertainment sites claiming that Adam Sandler and Happy Madison were developing a follow-up concept for Netflix, sometimes titled Click 2 or Click: A Second Chance, with speculation about the story following Michael Newman's children or a new character finding the remote. Adam Sandler himself has joked in interviews about revisiting the concept, but he has not confirmed a sequel is in production. Many fake trailers on YouTube using AI-generated footage have fueled the rumor that Click 2 is coming out in 2025 or 2026, but those are fan-made and not official. Netflix has a strong deal with Sandler and has produced many sequels like Murder Mystery 2 and Happy Gilmore 2, so a Click sequel is plausible and frequently requested by fans who love the original's emotional message. Until Happy Madison, Sony, or Netflix releases an official press release or trailer, Click 2 remains an unconfirmed project and not a scheduled release.
