No, you can generally no longer buy Craftsman tools from Sears because most Sears stores have closed after Sears Holdings bankruptcy in 2018, though limited Craftsman products may still be sold on Sears.com through marketplace sellers. Craftsman was Sears house brand from 1927 to 2017, sold exclusively at Sears. In 2017, Sears sold Craftsman brand to Stanley Black & Decker for 900 million dollars, but retained right to sell Craftsman at Sears stores for 15 years under licensing agreement. However, Sears filed bankruptcy in October 2018 and closed most stores, from over 3,500 stores at peak to fewer than 20 stores as of 2024, most in small format. As a result, Sears no longer stocks Craftsman tools in stores, and Sears.com sells limited Craftsman through third-party sellers, not directly. Stanley Black & Decker now sells Craftsman at Lowe's, which is primary retailer, plus Ace Hardware, Amazon, and other retailers, with much larger selection than Sears ever had. Some remaining Sears stores may still have old Craftsman inventory, but selection is minimal. So while technically you might find Craftsman on Sears.com marketplace, you cannot reliably buy Craftsman tools from Sears stores anymore, as brand is now sold at Lowe's as main partner, with lifetime warranty honored by Stanley Black & Decker, not Sears. So answer is essentially no, Sears no longer sells Craftsman in meaningful way.
