Low water pressure immediately following DIY or professional plumbing work is typically caused by debris, solder flux, or Teflon tape clogging the lines, or a partially closed supply valve. When pipes are cut, soldered, or reconfigured, loose metal burrs, pipe scale, and excess pipe dope or tape can break free and travel downstream, lodging inside the nearest faucet aerator, cartridge, or valve seat. Additionally, if you forgot to open the main supply shut-off valve or an individual branch valve completely after finishing the repair, water flow will remain heavily restricted. Verification: Unscrew and inspect faucet aerators for trapped debris, and verify that all shut-off valves are fully open.
