Hotpoint itself is a brand, not a manufacturer that makes other brands, so no brands are made by Hotpoint, but Hotpoint brand is owned and manufactured by Whirlpool Corporation in Europe and GE Appliances owned by Haier in North America for builder models, with Hotpoint being the brand itself rather than maker of other brands. Hotpoint was founded in 1911 in California, USA as Hotpoint Electric Heating Company, originally making electric irons and later appliances, but it did not create sub-brands. In Europe, Hotpoint brand is owned by Whirlpool Corporation EMEA division since 2014 acquisition of Indesit Company, which also owned Indesit brand, so Whirlpool makes Hotpoint and Indesit brands at factories in UK, Italy, and Poland, with Hotpoint positioned as budget brand and Indesit as even more budget brand, both made by Whirlpool but not made by Hotpoint. In North America, Hotpoint brand rights are with GE Appliances, owned by Haier Group since 2016, which makes GE, Profile, Café, and Monogram brands, with Hotpoint used only for some builder-grade models made in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. So Hotpoint does not make other brands, it is a brand made by Whirlpool in Europe and by GE Appliances owned by Haier in US for some models, with no sub-brands under Hotpoint, unlike Haier Group which owns GE Appliances, Fisher & Paykel, and Candy.
