Yes, Hotpoint still exists and is actively sold in both North America and Europe, though its ownership and positioning have changed over time. In the United States and Canada, Hotpoint is alive as the entry-level brand of GE Appliances. You can buy new Hotpoint refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and ranges today at Home Depot, Lowes, Best Buy, and other appliance dealers. They are marketed as affordable, no-frills appliances for apartments, rental properties, and budget-conscious buyers. In the United Kingdom, Hotpoint is one of the largest appliance brands and is sold at Currys, AO, Argos, and John Lewis. It remains very visible in the UK market for washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, and ovens. Whirlpool continues to invest in the brand, although in 2024 Beko Europe acquired part of Whirlpool's European business, so Hotpoint in Europe is now transitioning under Beko Europe ownership while still using Whirlpool designs. So the brand has not disappeared. It has been around since 1911, originally founded in California as the Hotpoint Electric Heating Company, and it continues to be a major budget and mid-range brand in 2026.

Yes, Hotpoint still exists as active appliance brand, though now as European budget brand owned by Whirlpool Corporation in EMEA region, with products sold primarily in UK and Europe at major retailers, continuing to make washers, refrigerators, and other appliances. Hotpoint was founded in 1911 in California, USA as Hotpoint Electric Heating Company, becoming well-known American brand for many decades, and in Europe Hotpoint brand was owned by Indesit Company based in Italy. In 2014, Whirlpool Corporation acquired Indesit Company for about 1 billion euros, gaining Hotpoint and Indesit brands, and has continued to produce Hotpoint appliances at European factories in UK, Italy, and Poland, selling them at Argos, Currys, AO.com, and other UK retailers, with prices from 300 to 600 pounds for washers and fridges, targeting budget to mid-range market with decent features. In North America, Hotpoint brand is less common now, as GE Appliances, which previously used Hotpoint for builder models, now focuses on GE, Profile, Café, and Monogram brands after being acquired by Haier in 2016, but Hotpoint name still used for some builder-grade models in US. So Hotpoint still exists, primarily as UK and European brand owned by Whirlpool Corporation, with active manufacturing, sales, and service network through Whirlpool UK, offering budget appliances with good value for first homes and rentals.
