Ecobee thermostats do not feature a traditional physical recessed reset button on the exterior casing. Instead, all reset options—ranging from soft reboots performed by removing the faceplate to complete factory resets—are accessed digitally through the thermostat's on-screen user interface menu under the settings tab, or executed by physically power-cycling the unit off and on via its wall mount.
