LiftMaster garage door openers do not have a dedicated reset button labeled reset, but the Learn button acts as reset for programming and erasing codes, and there are ways to reset opener to factory defaults. To reset programming and erase all remote controls, keypads, and MyQ devices, press and hold Learn button on motor unit for 6 to 10 seconds until LED turns off, indicating all codes erased, then you can reprogram remotes. To reset travel limits and force settings to factory defaults, some models have adjustment buttons, you can reset by pressing and holding adjustment buttons or using MyQ app to reset limits. To reset logic board after power surge or error, unplug opener from power for 30 seconds to 1 minute, then plug back in, which power cycles and resets board. For MyQ WiFi reset, press and hold gear or settings button on WiFi models. There is no single reset button that resets everything, but combination of holding Learn button to erase codes and power cycling resets most functions. If opener has battery backup, disconnect battery when power cycling. Consult manual for your model number for specific reset procedures, as steps vary between chain drive, belt drive, and wall mount models. So Learn button is effectively reset button for programming.
