When barely any water trickles out of your faucets, it typically indicates a severe blockage of mineral scale inside the aerator screens, a closed or broken main water supply valve, a failing pressure-reducing valve (PRV), or a well pump pressure switch malfunction. If only one faucet is affected, the aerator is clogged; if every faucet is affected, a main supply issue is present. Verification: Unscrew individual aerator tips; if water gushes strongly without the aerator, the screens are heavily encrusted with calcium.
