Water emerging from a faucet very slowly is usually caused by calcium and lime mineral buildup choking the aerator screen, a partially closed wall shutoff valve, trapped sediment in the supply line hoses, or low overall home water pressure. Over time, hard water minerals precipitate out of the water supply and accumulate inside narrow fixture openings, drastically restricting flow volume. Verification: Remove and clean the spout aerator, then test the faucet stream to confirm normal water delivery speed.
