Replacing an old faucet can sometimes improve water pressure if the old fixture was severely choked internally with hard water mineral scale or corrosion. However, if your home's underlying water supply lines, shutoff valves, or main water pressure are already restricted, installing a brand-new faucet will not magically increase pressure. In fact, modern faucets feature mandatory built-in flow restrictors that may actually feel more restricted if your home pressure is low. Verification: Test water flow directly from the supply lines into a bucket before installing the new faucet.
