Water emerging from a showerhead very slowly is usually caused by calcium and lime mineral scale accumulation choking the tiny spray nozzles and internal mesh screen, a partially closed hot or cold supply valve behind the wall, or a failing pressure-balancing cartridge inside the shower mixing valve. Over time, hard water minerals precipitate out and narrow the water passage, restricting flow volume. Verification: Unscrew the showerhead and soak it in white vinegar; if flow returns, the nozzles were clogged with sediment.
