You can buy Symmons shower valves from many plumbing supply and retail sources, though they are more common at professional plumbing supply houses than at big box stores. Symmons Industries, founded in 1939 in Braintree, Massachusetts, sells Temptrol and other shower valves through Ferguson Enterprises, which is the largest plumbing distributor in US and carries full Symmons line including Temptrol, Allura, Dia, and Duro valves, both online at ferguson.com and at Ferguson showrooms. You can also buy Symmons shower valves at WinSupply, Hajoca, and other local plumbing supply houses that cater to plumbers, where you get expert advice. Online, you can buy Symmons shower valves at Amazon.com, HomeDepot.com, Lowes.com, and Build.com, though selection may be limited compared to Ferguson. Symmons official website at symmons.com has a where to buy locator and also sells parts directly. For Canada, you can buy Symmons at Wolseley Canada and other plumbing wholesalers. For replacement parts, symmons.com offers parts catalog and direct ordering with lifetime warranty support. So best places are Ferguson, WinSupply, Hajoca for full selection and plumber support, and Amazon, Home Depot, Build.com for convenience. Symmons valves cost $100 to $300 for valve plus trim.
