Moen is an American brand but not all Moen products are American made, with manufacturing split between USA and overseas, though it is headquartered in USA. Moen was founded in 1937 by Alfred Moen in Seattle, Washington, who invented the single-handle faucet, and is now headquartered in North Olmsted, Ohio, and is owned by Fortune Brands Innovations, an American company. Moen is American-owned and designed in USA, with engineering and design in Ohio. Some Moen products, especially higher-end and commercial lines, are assembled in USA, but many Moen faucets and shower valves are manufactured in USA, China, and other countries under Moen quality control, as is common for plumbing industry. For example, Moen M-Pact and Posi-Temp valves are designed in USA and made in facilities in USA and overseas. Moen emphasizes American design and warranty, with limited lifetime warranty and excellent customer service based in USA. Compared to Symmons which is made primarily in Braintree, Massachusetts, USA, Moen has more overseas production. So is Moen American made, it is American brand, American-designed, American-owned, with some manufacturing in USA and some overseas, so partially American made. If you want fully made in USA, Symmons is more American-made than Moen, but Moen remains American company with US headquarters and many US jobs.
