Kohler is still called Kohler, and the company name remains Kohler Co., headquartered in Kohler, Wisconsin. It has not rebranded to a different name, though its corporate structure has evolved. The plumbing and kitchen and bath division is still marketed as Kohler, with the tagline The Bold Look of Kohler. In 2023, Kohler Co. announced a corporate reorganization of its power and energy businesses. Its power division, which includes Kohler Power Systems, Kohler Engines, Kohler Energy, and Clarke Energy, was rebranded as Kohler Energy, and in 2024 Kohler announced that Kohler Energy would become an independent company majority-owned by Platinum Equity while Kohler Co. retains a significant stake. So the generator and engine business is now called Kohler Energy and is operating separately, but the main consumer brand for toilets, faucets, sinks, and hospitality remains Kohler Co. The luxury sub-brands like Kallista, Ann Sacks, Robern, and Victoria + Albert also keep their own names under the Kohler umbrella. The hospitality properties like The American Club and Whistling Straits also remain under Kohler Co. So there is no new name for the main brand. It is still simply Kohler, founded in 1873, and continues to be family-owned.
