If someone is reflective, it means they tend to think deeply about their experiences, feelings, actions, and life events, taking time to examine and learn from them rather than acting impulsively. A reflective person engages in introspection, considering what happened, why it happened, how they felt, and what they can learn for future. Reflective people are often thoughtful, self-aware, and contemplative, enjoying quiet time to ponder and journal about life. In learning, reflective person reviews experiences to improve understanding. Reflective can also mean person is good listener who mirrors others feelings, or in literal sense, person wearing reflective clothing that reflects light. But psychologically, being reflective means having habit of self-examination, being insightful about own behavior and emotions, and using reflection for personal growth, emotional intelligence, and better decision making, contrasting with impulsive or unreflective person who does not pause to think about experiences.
