Polyurethane foam injection (often considered superior) and traditional mudjacking each have distinct advantages. Mudjacking is usually cheaper upfront and uses heavy natural soils, whereas foam injection is lighter, cures in minutes, requires much smaller drill holes, provides precise lifting control, and adds virtually no weight to weak sub-grades, making foam generally the better long-term solution.
