In most cases involving sunken or uneven slabs, lifting concrete (via mudjacking or polyurethane foam injection) is significantly faster, less disruptive, and roughly half as expensive as tearing out and replacing the entire slab. However, if the concrete is severely shattered, crumbling, or structurally compromised, complete demolition and replacement become necessary.
