God brings restoration in various ways according to faith traditions, often through both divine action and practical means. Spiritually, God brings restoration through forgiveness that removes guilt and restores relationship, through inner renewal that heals broken hearts and brings peace, and through guidance that leads people into new purpose. This can happen through prayer, meditation on scripture, worship, and experience of grace that transforms perspective. Relationally, God brings restoration through community, family, and reconciliation processes where people forgive and rebuild trust. Practically, restoration may come through provision of resources, opportunities, and healing of body and mind via medical care, counseling, and support systems that believers see as instruments of divine care. Biblically, God brings restoration by redeeming time, as in Joel 2:25 restoring years lost, and by making all things new as in Revelation. It is often described as gradual process where suffering is not wasted but used for growth, where God comforts, strengthens, and opens new paths, showing compassion that restores joy and wholeness beyond previous condition.
