Steel push piers are installed by first excavating around the home's exterior foundation footing to expose the damaged area. Heavy-duty steel brackets are bolted securely to the footing. Hydraulic driving cylinders are then attached, and the building's own structural weight is utilized to push high-strength steel pipes deep down into the ground until they reach unyielding bedrock or stable load-bearing strata.
