Yes, you can see at night with ceramic tint, and ceramic tint is actually designed to provide excellent visibility at night compared to cheaper dyed or metalized films of the same darkness. Ceramic tint uses ceramic nanoparticles that block infrared heat and UV rays without needing to be extremely dark, so you can get good heat rejection even with lighter films like 70 percent or 50 percent that are easy to see through at night. The visibility at night depends more on the VLT percentage than on the type of film, but ceramic films tend to be clearer and less hazy than cheap dyed films. For example, a 35 percent ceramic tint will be easier to see through at night than a 35 percent dyed tint because ceramic has better optical clarity and less distortion. That said, any tint darker than about 35 percent will reduce night visibility to some degree, especially in unlit areas. 70 percent and 50 percent ceramic tints are very easy to see through at night, 35 percent is manageable, 20 percent is noticeably darker at night, and 5 percent limo tint is very difficult at night. So yes, you can see at night with ceramic tint, and if night visibility is a priority, choose a lighter ceramic film like 50 percent or 35 percent on front windows and reserve darker ceramic for rear windows.
