Are Samsung electric dryers any good, yes, Samsung electric dryers are considered good for features, large capacity, and value, though reliability is mid range. Pros, Samsung electric dryers offer large capacity 7.2 to 7.5 cubic feet, many drying cycles including steam sanitize that reduces wrinkles and odors, sensor dry that automatically stops when clothes dry, wrinkle prevent, and SmartThings app for remote monitoring and diagnostics. Design is modern with many colors including Bespoke, and Vibration Reduction Technology reduces noise. Energy Star models are efficient. Price is competitive $600 to $1100, often with discounts. Cons, reliability surveys show Samsung electric dryers have average reliability, common issues after few years include heating element failure and drum roller noise, requiring repairs. Compared to Speed Queen and LG which rank higher for durability, Samsung is more feature rich but slightly less durable. Consumer Reports rates Samsung electric dryers mid tier, good performance but average reliability. For most families wanting large capacity and smart features at reasonable price, Samsung electric dryers are good choice if you maintain vent cleaning yearly and filter after each load. If you prioritize maximum longevity, Speed Queen and LG may be better. Overall Samsung electric dryers are good value for features.
