Are GE Appliances made in China, some GE Appliances are made in China, but many are still made in USA, with GE Appliances having manufacturing in both USA and China, though owned by Haier Chinese company. GE Appliances, brand that stands for General Electric Appliances, founded as part of General Electric in 1892, now owned by Haier, Chinese company headquartered in Qingdao, China, since 2016 acquisition for 5.6 billion dollars, has main manufacturing factory in Louisville, Kentucky, USA, known as Appliance Park, where it makes washers, dryers, dishwashers, and refrigerators, employing over 6000 workers in USA, and remains largest appliance factory in USA. However, GE Appliances also imports some models and components from China and other countries, with some smaller appliances, microwaves, and some refrigerator models made in China by Haier factories, and some parts sourced from China. So GE Appliances are not all made in China, many are made in USA in Louisville, Kentucky, with American manufacturing, though owned by Chinese company Haier, and some models made in China. So answer, some GE Appliances are made in China, but many are made in USA in Louisville, Kentucky, USA, with both USA and China manufacturing, with brand owned by Chinese Haier but with significant USA manufacturing remaining.
