Legendary women's basketball coach Kim Mulkey left Baylor University in April 2021 to accept the head coaching position at Louisiana State University. After spending two decades building the Lady Bears into a national powerhouse and capturing three NCAA national titles in Waco, Mulkey chose to return to her home state of Louisiana closer to her extended family and childhood roots, taking on a new professional challenge to revitalize the women's basketball program at LSU.
