The killer featured prominently in the thriller "Trap" is Cooper, a charismatic suburban family man, youth baseball coach, and devoted father who harbors a terrifying dark secret as the sadistic serial killer known to law enforcement as "The Butcher." Portrayed by Josh Hartnett, Cooper navigates the concert arena with chilling calculation, balancing his outward persona of paternal warmth with the cold, predatory resourcefulness required to evade federal agents and engineer a desperate escape before his true identity is fully uncovered by the authorities.
