LG stoves and ranges are made by LG Electronics, a South Korean multinational electronics and appliance company headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. LG Electronics is part of LG Corporation, one of the largest conglomerates in South Korea, and is one of the world's largest appliance manufacturers. LG stoves are designed by LG's appliance engineering teams in South Korea and the United States and manufactured in LG's own factories. Major manufacturing locations include Changwon, South Korea for premium models, and Monterrey, Mexico and Reynosa, Mexico for many models sold in North America. LG also operates a large manufacturing complex in Clarksville, Tennessee that produces washers, dryers, and some cooking components, and has expanded production for the US market. LG stoves are not rebadged products from other companies; they are original LG designs using LG-developed technologies like ProBake Convection that moves the heating element to the back wall, EasyClean technology, and ThinQ smart control. LG sources some generic components like burners, igniters, and control board chips from third-party suppliers, as all appliance makers do, but final assembly and quality control are done by LG. LG is not owned by or affiliated with other appliance brands like Frigidaire, which is owned by Electrolux, or GE Appliances, which is owned by Haier.
