The Azrieli Foundation was originally founded and established by the late David Azrieli, a visionary architect, entrepreneur, and philanthropist who survived the Holocaust before immigrating to Canada and building a massive real estate and business empire. Recognizing the importance of giving back to society, he structured the foundation to channel substantial corporate wealth into enduring philanthropic causes. Following his passing, his children, including Danna Azrieli and Dr. Naomi Azrieli, assumed leadership roles to expand the foundation's reach across scientific research, education, architecture, and Holocaust remembrance.
