Among the most famous and dominant contemporary EMU football alumni is Las Vegas Raiders superstar defensive end Maxx Crosby, a multiple-time Pro Bowler and one of the league's most disruptive edge rushers. Other notable alumni include veteran NFL quarterback Charlie Batch, who played extensively for the Detroit Lions and won two Super Bowls with the Pittsburgh Steelers; Pro Bowl offensive lineman T. J. Lang, who won a Super Bowl with the Green Bay Packers; offensive tackle Andrew Wylie, a multi-time Super Bowl champion; and historic defensive legends like John Banaszak and Ron Johnson from the iconic 1970s Steelers championship dynasty.
