Which LG top loading washing machine is best?

The best LG top loading washing machine currently is generally considered to be the LG WT7800CV 5.5 cu. ft. Mega Capacity Smart Top Load Washer in graphite steel, along with its white variant WT7800CW. It is consistently rated as an Editors' Choice by Reviewed, Wirecutter, and Consumer Reports for top loaders. It offers the largest capacity in its class, allowing you to wash a king-size comforter and full set of bedding in one load, and features LG's TurboWash 3D with five powerful jets that spray in multiple directions for a faster and more thorough clean in under 37 minutes. It uses LG's direct-drive motor and 6Motion technology that uses six different wash motions for fabric care, plus AI DD fabric sensing that detects load weight and softness. Other excellent options include the LG WT7400CV 5.3 cu. ft. model as a best value, which retains most of the same features at a lower price, and the LG WT7900HBA with Auto Dispense that holds detergent for up to 18 loads. All include steam, Allergiene, and smart pairing via ThinQ app. For most families, the WT7800CV provides the best combination of cleaning performance, capacity, quiet operation, and long-term reliability with a 10-year direct drive motor warranty.
